Welcome to GingerSnaps Photography! 

 

My name is Jenn (yes, with two n’s) and I am a 40-something photographer, artist, and general master multi-tasker and chaos coordinator as a mother to three children and the wife of a firefighter. I’m a Kentucky girl, born and raised, but I attended college in Ohio with former aspirations to become a Disney animator! After briefly experiencing the not-so-glamourous life of living in Orlando, I changed course and eventually landed here in Indiana with my beautiful family for the past 17 years. 

 

Those who know me well know that you’ll usually find me wearing black, even though blue is my favorite color, and I love Harry Potter, Star Wars, Diet Cherry Pepsi, and dancing. I danced for 14 years, and now my daughter does, too. I also fell for my husband while out dancing one night! I also love all things fall, especially Halloween; we dress up as a family every year. When I’m not juggling all the mom and wife duties, you’ll usually find me out and about completing shoots for photography clients or busy behind the scenes editing galleries!

 

Photography has been a passion of mine for a long time. My own children were my first photography subjects, and once I realized how much I enjoyed chasing my own kids around the park to capture amazing moments, I knew I wanted to provide that gift to other families as well. I love working with kids, and as a mom, believe me when I say that I totally 100% understand how much work goes into planning outfits and getting ready for photos (so much work!), but it is so important to take photos of yourself, your kids, and family, and I’m so honored to be chosen to capture those memories for you!

 

I provide both studio and on location photography for my clients, so you can choose what works best for your family. I specialize in maternity, newborn, child, and family photography, but I also love working with clients to fulfill their personalized photography needs.
